Grief, Loss & Bereavement Therapy
Restored Wellbeing has a particular focus on supporting those who are struggling after a significant loss. We hold space to have the difficult conversations that others may avoid. At our practice we will sit alongside you as you slowly learn to manage the overwhelming emotions that have become your daily norm. We are here to create the safety for you to process your loss in a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space.
Perinatal Grief & Loss
Losing a pregnancy and baby is a devastating experience, and an experience that is more complex than many acknowledge. At Restored Wellbeing, Dianna Giles, Janine Oostenbroek and Kirsten Finn provide experienced bereavement support for mothers, fathers and families to process any loss. We support for clients who have experienced miscarriage & early pregnancy loss, medical termination, stillbirth & newborn death, sudden infant death and the death of a baby or young child.

We also support bereaved families who have had to terminate a pregnancy for medical or maternal health reasons:
Funding for Perinatal Loss Support
Please be aware that there is some Government funding available to any woman who has been pregnant in the past 12 months, this is called Non-Directive Pregnancy Support Counselling.
Non-Directive Pregnancy Support Counselling: For a person who is currently pregnant or has been pregnant in the previous 12 months and is seeking support around pregnancy related issues, including pregnancy loss. This requires a referral from your GP (but not a mental health care plan) and a rebate is available for 3 sessions per pregnancy. Both Dianna and Kirsten are able to provide these rebates if the GP specifies that they are referring under this program.
