Kirsten has a special interest on treating Birth Trauma issues which may include processing distressing events during pregnancy, birth or the early postnatal period.

Kirsten prefers to use EMDR Therapy but has been trained in a range of therapies that can be used depending on the current issues.

  • Di is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Her individual therapy services are covered via Mental Health Care Plans and these consultations are eligible for Medicare Rebates. Some Private Health Funds may provide rebates for counselling services, at present these include BUPA, Teachers Credit Union Health Fund and Doctors Health Fund and as AASW negotiates with other funds, coverage will expand. Please check with your health fund to determine eligibility.
